HYPACK will hold a 3 days HYPACK-HYSWEEP hands -on training course in Annapolis, MD the week of May 17th, 2010. Three days hands-on will cover HYPACK and HYSWEEP software programs for:
o Multibeam System Integration
o Multibeam System Calibration
o Multibeam Performance Testing
o Multibeam Data Collection
o Multibeam Data Processing
o MBMAX
o CUBE

On May 20-21, 2010, HYPACK will hold a 2- day training course in Annapolis, MD
The class will focus on processing techniques using HYSCAN and GEOCODER, and will cover sonar theory, sidescan acquisition and targeting in HYSCAN. This hands-on class will allow students to create mosaics of different sonar datasets, including towed sidescan systems and backscatter, snippet and intensity data from multibeam system. Targeting methods and report generation using HYSCAN will be covered. Using 3DTV, the class will show how sidescan data can be combined with bathymetry, and exported out to AVI's and TIF files.
The cost to attend this class is $249 or $199 if combined with the multibeam course. (Registration limited to 20 people)
